The Selbstfahrlafette IV A was a German assault gun or fighter tank of the Second World War. It was based on the Panzerkampfwagen IV. Only two prototypes were built, both of which were used on the Eastern Front in 1941 / 42. The vehicle was nicknamed "Dicker Max" by the soldiers.
